Kris Aquino's Reaction About James Yap's Statement Regarding Her Using Bimby for Publicity

Being known for who she is, Kris Aquino definitely did not stood still regarding the recent issue about her son, which seems that the feud between her and former husband James Yap isn’t totally over. Just recently, James Yap opens District 8 that he invested in with several other famous celebrities. Then he had an  interview with PEP, where James revealed that he has not seen his son with Kris Aquino for 8 months.

He told the press that his visitation rights aren’t even followed and that he feels that his son doesn’t even want to see him. The basketball player hopes that he and Bimby will have a connection again. James said: “Kasi ang hirap, e. [Ipag]siksikan mo ang sarili mo, tapos wala namang development, parang maano ka rin… Kumbaga, sorry sa word, magsasawa ka rin, kasi masasaktan ka lang.”

However, it seems that this interview did not sit well with Kris. She breaks her silence to tell James Yap to stop using Bimby for his own benefit. Kris posted a lengthy Facebook post saying: “There comes a point when being QUIET just doesn’t cut it anymore. I tried my best to be PROPER, to maintain dignified silence for the sake of PEACE- but when the other party is again playing the sympathy card, the mother in me just has to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”

Kris fires back with the harsh truth and claims that James never exerted any effort to get to know Bimby. Even financially supporting his son was a difficult task for the player since the last time Kris remembers James contributing for his tuition was 3 years ago. Kris Aquino says that she knows questions about Bimby can never be ignored but he could’ve just refused to comment.

She continued: “Parenting isn’t a competition, it should be cooperation- even if we are already long annulled as a couple. I was far from being a perfect wife, but I know I am a loving, responsible, involved, and devoted mother. DO NOT PLAY THE VICTIM AGAIN- because a man who walked away with millions from an annulment settlement from a marriage that lasted just 4 years can never be a victim especially when he is portraying a 10 year old boy as the one at “fault” in not liking him and making him feel na “magsasawa ka at masasaktan ka lang.”

Kris ends her post by saying that a quiet life is a much better way to live. Kris and her boys are happy and content. “I strongly believe they will remain secure and happy for as long as their mother is steadfast in her faith in God, hardworking as their provider, and nurturing as the protector of their lives.” Kris asks James to leave the issue alone, to leave her and her sons alone. She will remain quiet as long as she can because what’s more important is raising Bimby to be a fine young man, despite the living situation of having separated parents.
