GMA Network's Lolit Solis is a veteran talk show host, talent manager, and entertainment columnist. With her being in the industry for so long, she has established her name as one of the most prominent in the show business industry. However, there are some people who consider her less than what she is for her background. She grew up in a squatters’ area in Lardizabal, Sampaloc, which might be the probable reason why a fan of Kris Aquino said she doesn’t fit in the elite class.
Both Kris Aquino and Lolit Solis were invited as guests at the wedding of former actor Alfred Vargas and Yasmine Espiritu, which was held at Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati. It was also attended by a lot of known public personalities both in showbiz and politics. The talk show host shared several photos of the event on her Instagram page, with matching captions sharing on how the event went. She even shared bits of conversation with Kris and other personalities. However Lolit was spoken badly about by a netizen, Who said that Lolit did not belong in a such occasions and crowd.
Lolit was just going laugh it off and disregard the comment however she eventually revealed that she could nit forget the offensive remark that was pointed at her. She was deeply hurt and insulted by the remark made by Kris' fan, where she was told that she dis not belong because of her background.
The veteran talk show host defended herself saying that despite her background, she did everything to achieve where she is now through hard work. She knows that her friends and other personalities accept her for who she is because she knows that she is a good person. She has friends from the upperclass who appreciates her, despite growing up in an unfortunate setting.
Now through her hard work, her loved ones can now afford their hearts' wishes. She posted another post saying that she is now going to forget all the hurtful comments towards her and just pray for them instead. Meanwhile, Kris defended Lolit through commenting back on her alleged fan who bashed Lolit. She told the fan to stop the hate and told that Lolit is a good woman despite her unfortunate background.
