The State of the Nation Address (SONA) is an annual address done by the President of the Philippines. The SONA is often broadcasted for the whole country to watch by. It serves as a means to inform the nation about its present economic, political, and social condition. It is also a stadium for the President to summarize the accomplishments and plans of his/her programme of government both for a particular year and until the end of his/her term of office.
This is the second State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo "Rody" Roa Duterte, also known as Digong, who is the 16th and current President of the Philippines. Ofcourse politicians and partners of the President who are helping him to bring this country into anew were obligated to be at the SONA.
It has been a tradition for the politicians and their wives to wear traditional clothing to the event. Somehow, the attendees have made the occasion into their very runway, where they wore extravagant clothing to impress and show off and surely every year someone will be the talk of the town.
This year all eyes are on the wife of “People’s Champ” Senator Manny Pacquiao, Jinkee Pacquiao who wore a simple yet elegant nude color top and a dazzling skirt filled with intricate sophisticated flowery details. People can't get enough of how simple and elegant Jinkee is on her attire. Both Jinkee and Manny were complemented by netizens of being the best dressed couple who came to the event wearing simple but elegant attires which made them stood out more.
