Joseph Bitangcol, an actor from ABS-CBN, started his showbiz career when he joined Star Circle Quest (2004), a reality entertainment competition searching for new talents. He was able to join the Magic Circle of 10, but failed to make it in the Magic Circle of 5. Many people adored him for his undeniably good looks and good acting skills.
His talents were seen by ABS-CBN even though he lost in the competition, he became a trainee in Star Magic ( a training and management company of ABS-CBN) . Together with his fellow former questors from Star Circle Quest, they starred in SCQ Reload, a youth oriented drama, His next project was Spirits, a popular horror television series about 8 kids who have special abilities or powers.
Next is in 2006, he got a break and had his first movie entitled D’ Lucky Ones with his fellow former questor, Sandara Park, who is now a South Korean idol and He moved out to GMA network, ABS-CBN’s rival network, when his contract with Star Magic ended. In GMA7 He starred in Boys Nxt Door, an award-winning comedy television series. He also starred in Maynila, a Filipino youth - oriented drama anthology.
Joseph, at the age of 33, now started his new role, one of the most challenging yet greatest roles ever – being a father. Joseph Bitangcol tied the knot with his non-showbiz girlfriend after two years of being in a relationship, she’s no other than Franchesca Tonson, his fellow theater actor. He married her last July 30, 2016 in Taytay, Rizal.
