Former Glee star and International singing sensation Charice Pempengco recently changed her name and is now known as Jake Zyrus.
In 2013 the Glee star came out as a Lesbian. While most of her fans were devastated other praised her for her new look and despite of her Grandmother’s disapprovement Charice still managed to embrace her new Identity.
Charice Pempengco started her career in the Hollywood after Oprah Winfrey and David Foster noticed her, she then became ‘the International Singing Sensation’ that every Filipino were proud of. But it all changed when Charice came out as a Lesbian, there were controversies after controversies and apparently not all of her fans were pleased.
Adding to this controversy is Charice selling her properties and businesses in America and it was confirmed by her Grandmother Tess Pineda after she revealed her disappointment over Charice’s decision to change her name and she then also mentioned that Charice is going through financial crisis. And even Charice Pempengco’s Mom had to sell their Mansion in Tagaytay for financial needs. She said over her interview, “Kailangan e. Kailangan ko ng pagkakakitaan as soon as possible, dahil kung hihintayin ko pa ang taon, nakatunganga ako.”
