Dantes proposed for the second time to Marian Rivera, his recurrent leading lady and longtime girlfriend on August 9, 2014. DongYan’s royal wedding was held at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Cubao, Quezon City in December 30, 2014 .
Both Dantes and Rivera are exclusive artists of GMA Network. They are given the title of GMA’s Primetime King and Queen.
They announced they were expecting their first child in April 2015. Rivera then gave birth to her adorable daughter Maria Letizia on November 23, 2015.
