Right after the star-studded All-Star Basketball Game of Star Magic, another celebrity basketball game involving the Teen King Daniel Padilla, might eventually push through to the court. But this time it might involve the Teen King and another Kapamilya actor particularly Paul Salas who exchanged words on Twitter recently.
This was after the Paul made a comment that got Daniel pissed. He tweeted: “hahaha. Curry na Curry ba,” which was allegedly pertaining to DJ. Stephen Curry is the basketball idol of the Teen King and the comment seemed to refer to the “little scuffle” which happened between Daniel and JC De Vera of Team Gerald on the third quarter of the game of star-studded All-Star Basketball Game of Star Magic.
As the netizens brought the comment thread between Paul and his friends to Twitter, it immediately got trending just after a few hours and because of this it was noticed by Marco Gumabao who happened to be DJ’s close friend, and from that moment on the so-called Twitter war began.
Meanwhile, fellow Kapamilya star Gerald Andersonis a well-known basketball enthusiast, the Star Magic All-Star Basketball Game’s blue team captain expressed how he felt towards the Twitter war between the two young stars. He said: "Sorry, natutuwa ako, kasi it’s about sports. Ito ang drama behind everything. That’s why everybody is so affected by it, kasi nga may pride and may joy. Ang sarap para sa akin, you know… why not?” the “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” star uttered.
“Siyempre naman, hanggang diyan lang naman. It shouldn’t get personal or anything. But you know, knowing us, we take everything personal. Ganun talaga. It just shows na hindi showbiz ang mga taong nanonood sa loob, e,” he added.
He also compared the Twitter war with what happened to JC and Daniel during their match. JC was part of Gerald’s team. He said, “Like that, kung ano ang nangyari kay JC and Daniel, it wasn’t anything serious, but it’s great, kasama sa game. It shows kung gaano ka-passionate ang mga tao, part siya ng game, drama."
When Gerald was asked whose team he’s on between Daniel and Paul, he had a neutral answer on it and said, “Problema nila ‘yan, kaya nila ‘yan.” The famous love team of Kim Chiu also expressed his insights about the possible next basketball game of Star Magic. Though he is not very much sure if they will still be the ones competing, he still looks forward to joining another match.
He says that he is awaiting over another match, however the only thing is that he would not be on the game. Gerald said: “Let’s see. Pero mukhang iba na ang maglalaban, e, hindi na kami “Why not? As long as nakakapagbigay ng saya sa tao, nakakapag-enjoy din kami. Sobrang passionate kami sa game, ibinigay namin lahat sa nakanood, nakita naman nila, so why not?”.
