The movie “Kita Kita” has been generating a lot of good connotations ever since its trailer got released, where moviegoers looked forward to watching it. Fortunately, people were actually impressed with the film and eager moviegoers made the movie a hit. Many fans and critics believe that its stars, Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, are responsible for the film’s box office success because of their unexpected hit love team.
The cast of the film were actually really surprised that after only two weeks the film was released, it already made more than P200 million in ticket sales. With the huge success, the movie’s executive producer, Piolo Pascual, gave the lead actors P1 million each as a bonus for doing such a good job. Now you would wonder where all that money would possibly go to, well for Empoy, he surely did spend on something that will be his investment for life.
The film’s leading man put all his earnings to good use, where Empoy was reportedly able to purchase a new two-story home because of the money he earned from “Kita Kita.” The film was definitely a game changer for him and it open up a lot of opportunities for the comedian-actor who flew under the radar prior to his recent blockbuster success.
The comedian’s new house is undeniably elegant and posh even if viewed from the outside. The monochromatic color scheme gives it a very modern and sleek feel, where inside, the house looks quite spacious. The living room is furnished with pieces that match the palette of the house. Empoy also has a billiards table that his guests and friends can use to pass the time.
Notable parts of his house are the following: a bar which is located beside the staircase, the comedian’s new home features an indoor swimming pool, the kitchen looks pristine colored in white which holds numerous cupboards for storage, master’s bedroom which was very refreshing to the eyes as it is accented in sky blue hues and the walls match the cool tones of the bed and the pillows. All in all the house was truly magnificent which looked awesome through Empoy's hard work.
The comedian/ actor had been in the industry for quite a while now, however it was not until the project "Kita Kita”, that made him achieved this level of mainstream success and recognition. Both the lead actors, Alessandra and Empoy revealed that they are having plans for an upcoming movie together again, which will also be shot outside the Philippines so people should stay tuned and await for their next movie.
