Kapuso star Maine Mendoza rose to fame as the other half of the phenomenal love team AlDub, where she was also known as Yaya Dub in the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. Surely, the actress But earned a huge sum of money from her Kalye Serye stint in Eat Bulaga, because the funny actress has become so rich that she was able to open her own McDonald’s branch in Bulacan.
In her recent Instagram post, the actress shared a photo of her family during the branch’s blessing earlier this month with the caption: “Paparapapa, love ko ‘to! ❤️ See you on August 11! #McDoStaClara” Fans will surely go to this branch to get a glimpse of the down-to-earth star. Prior to the opening, Yaya Dub, along with partner Alden Richards, graced another McDonald’s branch and became a cashier for the day.
Maine and her family celebrated the blessing of her own branch earlier this month, where all of them wore red to mark the occasion and attract good luck for the business venture. Maine and her family raised their glasses of wine to toast the start of McDonald’s MAINEDEI Corporation.
The Kapuso star is the latest endorser of the fast food chain, aside from other brands she also represents. Maine is considered as one of the wealthiest amongst her peers where in fact, Maine was the Top Regional Individual Taxpayer according to the Bureau of Internal Revenue. It seems that there’s no stopping her as she continues to appear almost everywhere like television shows, movies, and commercials.
Franchising a McDonald’s restaurant is in fact no joke. As a franchisee of one of the top companies in the Philippines, it is expected to shell out P30 million to P50 million for each branch, assuming that the land is leased. However this cost will still vary, depending on restaurant size, building state, branch location, and equipment specifications. One could only imagine how much Maine invested in her Sta. Clara branch, which means that she has a lot of money to fund her business venture.
