Celebrity couple and the new addition to the Kapamilya family, Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez took everyone to a surprise with a photo on both their respective Instagram account, where Richard was doing the traditional down-on-one knee in the middle of the sprawling snow. The two shared the good news through the season premiere of their family’s reality show, “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez.” The lovely engaged couple is also the cover of Preview magazine, where they took the readers right back to Switzerland where Sarah was born and where Richard popped the magical question.
Richard picked Zermatt as the stunning backdrop for his proposal, for Sarah thought it was the most beautiful place on Earth. He thought that Zermatt was the perfect place because it was just so natural and magical. That was place where the two went when Sarah was pregnant with Zion. So the place indeed was indeed perfect because it brought a lot of good memories and now another memory will be forever remembered in that place.
When they were there, the weather forecast and said that there were only two sunny days. The rest of the days were overcast. So he waited for the perfect sunny day to finally happen, he was even carrying a camera bag to film the proposal entire time they were there. As the couple went hiking on that sunny day, Richard shared that he did not have a particular spot in mind to finally pop the question.
So along the way, they found a restaurant bar in the middle of the Alps, which was totally off for a proposal. The place was not romantic at all and was even playing rock music, however he thought it was the perfect moment so they both kissed and them Richard suddenly kneeled down which brought Sarah to tears. Sarah even said that she was ugly-crying for a good five minutes after she said yes. Right after that, the two went on a helicopter ride and enjoyed the rest of the day together as newly engaged couple.
