
Rodrigo "Rody" Roa Duterte, also known as Digong, is a Filipino lawyer and politician who is the 16th and current President of the Philippines. He is the first Mindanaoan to hold the office. He is one of the most sought for presidents that the people were really the once who made him win. In fact he did not officially announce to the public that he would be running in the May 2016 Presidential Elections, tarpaulins and posters have already been made announcing his “candidacy", which was made happen by the people themselves to support and encourage him to run for presidency even though he did not want to at that time.
When he finally confirmed the rumors and expressed his willingness to run as the next president of the Philippines, his road to presidency was met with eager responses from people, even famous personalities and fellow politicos as well.
