The multi-talented comedian, actor, former dancer and televisionhost Vhong Navarro has still not yet decided on a date for his marriage with his non-showbiz girlfriend. According to an interview with PUSH, Vhong revealed the has been planning their wedding since ages ago. However they could not find the right time for the wedding to occur.
The “It’s Showtime” host talked about this matter, during the press conference of his latest movie with Lovi Poe, “Woke Up Like This” by Regal Entertainment. According to Vhong , one of the major reasons why he has still not yet tied the knot with his non-showbiz girlfriend is because of the cases filed against him by Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and others which has been an issue that began way back in 2014.
He admitted honestly that was really the reason why the wedding is still on postpone. However, Vhong is hoping that the issues and controversies surrounding his personal life would get resolved as soon as possible, so that he could finally celebrate matrimony with his longtime girlfriend, who he has been together for years now through thick and thin.
Vhong then explained that he fully trusts God's plans for him. So he will wait on the right tine and just live by each day of God's plan. He knows that he could face these challenges and struggles in his life because he knows that after all the hardships, he will eventually find his happy place with his girlfriend. :
Vhong also said there’s a possiblity that he just might marry his girlfriend even before the cases filed against him are resolved. Vhong stated that age was a factor for him to speed thing up. “Kumbaga, nagkaka-edad ka na, hindi natin alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa atin, di ba? Gusto ko, hangga’t nandiyan siya, masigla pa kami.”
The controversy that has been surrounding Vhong Navarro for years now, comes from the three rape cases that were filed against him by model Deniece Cornejo, two of which were dismissed already by the Department of Justice. Vhong said that all he knows of really is that he has been telling the truth all this time and hid nothing. He admitted that he cheated long before but he never downgraded anyone for it.
However, despite the ups and down his life, Vhong is happy and grateful to his non-showbiz girlfriend who has been very understanding to his situation ever since the very start up until now. He says that he is very lucky that his girlfriend is like that, because if it were other girls then they would have left him on this kind of situation. That is why time is all they need for the wedding to soon happen hopefully.
