According to Michela Cazzola, she was deeply bothered by the article of entertainment columnist Ricky Lo in The Philippine Star regarding the issue that concerns Bimby the son of her husband James Yap to former wife, Kris Aquino. The issue in the article was about the no appearance of Bimby at the birthday party of Michela and James' kid which is Bimby's half-brother. Michela said: "I'm really hurt and offended because it was a celebration… birthday party, and somebody maliciously wanted it to make it like an intrigue or something. So, the malicious part was really bad taste."
Michela Cazzola is the Italian girlfriend of James Yap, voiced out her complaints against the veteran entertainment columnist and editor Ricky Lo. This is with regards to Bimby's no-show at MJ’s party which is the headline of Ricky's column in The Philippine STAR, last TuesdayAugust 15. Written in the article is the no show of Bimby at the birthday celebration of his half-brother Michael James o MJ.
In fact, both Kris and Michela agreed that they disliked the headline of the article which was clearly attacking the poor little boy. Michela , “I feel extremely bad. I feel extremely bad. I feel extremely offended because you should never use kids, you should never use babies to create intrigues, or to create headlines just to sell or to attract attention. It was really uncalled for." "Kris and I talked regularly and we already had a… we already agreed for the boys to meet privately. So, you know, it was really unexpected. And I don’t wanna even comment 'coz I don’t wanna give importance to something that doesn’t deserve importance." she added.
On the other hand Ricky posted another article on his column last August 16, however he did not apologize but instead he reasoned out regarding what he did. Michela reacted and said: “No comment. I do’t wanna talk about Ricky Lo, honestly. The thing I wanna say is, I’m really hurt and offended because it was a celebration… birthday party, and somebody maliciously wanted it to make it like an intrigue or something. So, the malicious part was really bad taste.”
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal or PEP.ph, who got the chance to have an interview with Michela at the grand opening ng District 8 Gastropub, sa may Greenhills, San Juan City, last friday August 17 where her boyfriend James is a co-owner. In fact, Michela said that she and Kris agreed for the kids to bond together in a private get-together si they can bond with each other in peace. She said: “We invited their half-brothers and I love the kids but, graciously, they informed us, they informed me in advance that they would prefer to meet privately. And to me, it’s a very wise decision because they are kids. And why do we need to make it like a show business, you know, thing? So, in advance, we agreed absolutely.”
