The next big thing gastropub is about to open soon, which is co-owned by numerous stars like Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, and James Yap. The District 8 Manila looks like the new place to be in right now, people are hoping that it had lived up to the expectations when it was still being planned. At first it was only the names of investors and founders who were known, from the three stars named above plus Councilor Paul Artadi and DLSU cager Francis Zamora‘s baby are the ones who will handle the gastropub and will soon be open to the public.
Recently, as interviews started to take interest on the gastropub, there’s nothing like basketball superstar Marc Pingris to take the interviewers on a tour. There were lots of pictures and videos that were showcased in the space. The brick wall with painted art, the smooth finish on the tables gave of a rustic feel, plus the booths look cozy as hell. Other details like the signage and the lighting were all well-made, where indeed the investors and owners spared no expense into making District 8 look and feel like the new generation’s go-to spot.
Pingris also showed various pictures of their group clinking glasses with the owner as to celebrate the success of their business. He recorded himself promoting the establishment which is located in Greenhills along with another basketball player and is an investor at the gastro pub as well, James Yap. It looks like the basketball star and his friends are totally enjoying the pub and will hopefully open it to the public. He stated that the restaurant does not sell expensive food but everything’s delicious is hoping that people will come and support the business because it has good food and good booze.

They claimed that their tour guide Marc Pingris, was busy making videos of the bartenders doing their thing and shows the great food to everyone. Marc goes around and takes a shot of the whole place and let’s his viewers now what District 8 has to offer. Definitely, this newly found gastropub will be the next big thing and people should anticipate in what it has to offer. They are expected to open on August 14, and they are hoping that people will be there to support their new venture.
