Dreams are truly mysterious occurrence many of us experience when we sleep. From countless situations, images, people and feelings; a dream can bring us to another place entirely that can be either incredible or frightening. Experts agree that most dreams happen during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. However, scientists still have no idea where dreams originate from the brain. We also have no idea if there is a single part of the brain involved in the creation of dreams or if multiple portions of the brain are involved.
Even the very purpose of dreaming remains a mystery, where many times when we wake up we’ll forget the nonsense that happens in our dreams while in other times we remember them vividly. What makes sense in a dream often doesn’t make sense in reality. One of those instances where we see something impossible during sleep is when we’re visited by a deceased loved one.
Unsurprisingly many people are often disturbed by dreams of a deceased loved one. However one woman claims that being visited by someone close to you who’s passed on, is actually a good thing. Lauri Moore, who works as a psychic medium, says that dreams about a deceased loved one can mean just about anything. She calls them “visitation dreams” and could mean many things – like comfort and reassurance.
