According to Viva Films, actress Phoebe Walker might be the next big thing. She is not all about nudity, in fact she is up to everything that the director tells her to do which makes everything a delight when she is on set. No wonder that the actress has projects right after another and another proof of this is her win of the best supporting actress in the Manila Film Festival last 2016. And here she is once again ready to play a lead role in a movie directed by Toto Natividad entitled, “Double Barrel: Sige! Iputok Mo!” where she will be starring with Ali Khatibi whom she unveiled that she was scared to work with.
Phoebe revealed that she was scared to kiss Ali, she says that she does not want to kiss Ali because of his wife, Cristine Reyes. In a sitcom where the two were featured in a kissing scene, made her feel uncomfortable according to an interview with ABS-CBN PUSH. She said that even though the kiss was just a smack on the cheeks, it made her uneasy because she is very star-strucked by Ali's wife Cristine. That is why during the storycon, she asked Ali if the kissing scene was alright with his wife. Where Ali replied that it was totally alright in the part of his wife because she knows it is purely professional. But according to Phoebe, despite the assurance, she is still keeping a safe distance in respect for Cristine.
Phoebe Walker holds Cristine Reyes in high regard. Phoebe shared that she is in good terms with Cristine and they do exchange compliments. She says that she is very much idolizing the couple for they are both very humble and good at what they do. She even revealed that she has a non-showbiz boyfriend who does not enjoy watching her work onscreen. She says that her boyfriend is very conservative and tries to not watch her movies for they are to liberated for him, considering that it is his first time to have a celebrity girlfriend. But according to Phoebe, she would like to take things slow, because she is very much new to the industry.
She said that despite their differences, she and her boyfriend make their relationship work. She also said that her boyfriend only asks her for one and that is to leave a small space to make people run their imagination so she does not to have to show all. Despite his boyfriend is against other men touching her, he fully understands her work and is very much supportive.
On the other hand people are well aware that Ali Khatibi is known by all as a loyal husband to his beloved wife, Cristine Reyes. In fact, he despise cheating and condemns those who believe that it makes a man more masculine to sleep with multiple women. Ali said during a press conference for his film “Double Barrel: Sige! Iputok Mo!”, that he would not do anything to hurt his wife and child because it would not make him more of a man if he did.
