Recently a young Kapamilya actress-comedienne Kiray Celis back fired at harsh comments against her photo posted in her social media account in Instagram, where seemingly the bottom of her butt were exposed.
People are talking about how disgusting it looked and told her harsh comments. Kiray however talked back to the bashers, that it was natural fir that to happen because she was wearing a swimsuit with a tight short over it that made it like that. According to Kiray, there was nothing wrong and in all fact she was wearing shorts to make it less lewd. She also stated that if the shorts were already lewd looking, what more comments would she get she was wearing bikini instead.
Kiray also defended herself that she was at the appropriate place to wear such clothing because reportedly she was at Bias City in Negros Occidental together with her boyfriend Kirst Viray. But people didn't stop their and continued to talk badly about how she was not mindful of her outfits. Despite the bad comments, the two continued to enjoy their vacation.
We live in a world today where social media is a daily compulsion and viewing of other's lives now happens in a massive and concerning level. With that people are quick to comment on our activities which we allow them to see. However, this idea of body shaming where we have an image of the ideal picture that we all have to portray has to stop.
We are all uniquely beautiful in our own way, we shouldn't talk off others if we are only going to say bad things about them. People may talk about freedom of speech, but everything has a rightful limit because too much of something is never good. We must be mindful of the words we let go, because nothing comes good from downgrading others.
