Enrique Mari Bacay Gil V or simply Enrique Gil rose to fame in the Kapamilya Network. He is definitely one of the most sought after leading men in the Philippine show business today. With his swagger look make him more appealing as well as great dancing skills where he was first recognized in and been famous for his "Teach Me How To Dougie" moves. Not long after that, various projects has emerged for him and which made him appear in various films and television shows such as "Mula Sa Puso", "Budoy", "Muling Buksan Ang Puso", "Princess and I", and "She's the One", but he is best known for his role as Alexander "Xander" Grande III in the television series "Forevermore" in 2014– 2015, alongside Liza Soberano.
There is no doubt that the King of the Gil, which he is dubbed as, has already made a mark on the media and is greatly admired by many people most especially his love team with the ever so beautiful Liza Soberano. However recently a photo of him with a fan went viral and people are starting to say nasty things about him. Enrique was recently bashed because of an awkward photo with a fan, which was uploaded on Instagram by a username @ramos_shie. In the photo it shows that the user gave her widest smile however, Enrique was too busy looking at his phone on one hand and paper on the other. Because of that photo on Instagram, some netizens could not help but notice how allegedly rude Enrique was for not posing for the photo and taking a bit of his time for his fan.
Others even said that he didn't really want to take a photo and was just forced to do so. However, of course, Enrique's fans defended him and said that there are other photos wherein he was really looking at the camera and that shot was just one of those where he was just looking at his passport to check. Others defended him as well by saying that, people should know the situation on what happened there first before they judge
