Last Monday July 24, Marry Me at Marriott continues to prove that they are the country’s top bridal show. It is biggest wedding event of the year that annually happens on at the Marriott Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel Manila. This is another year for the bridal show to occur at Marriott Hotel which showcased the creations of the world-class Filipino designers that we are surely proud of.
Everything was glamorous and well concepted from the food, to the decor and of course the more than 50 bridal gowns and suits of the models designed by world-class Filipino designers which were absolutely gorgeous which kept every guest busy as their eyes were delighted of the glamorous and sleek designs of the outfits of the models.
Michael Leyva, one of the designers who was catered to the event, designed a huge dramatic red gown which was worn by none other than the Anne Curtis who is dubbed as the "Ang Nag Iisang Dyosa". Michael Leyva's creation was absolutely stunningly designed with pleated fabric attached to the waist to form a glorious petal-like train. It features a plunging off-shoulder neckline and complex details running down the bodice. He designed the huge layered trail to match te serpentina fit of the gown.
According to Michael, it was always his dream to dress up the actress, where he designed the red dress especially for her because he believes that red is Anne's color and it was also the color of the gown that he first made for the actress.
Everything single bead work on that gown was made by hand which definitley gave the gown a lot of sparkles and shimmer. The gown was definitely an eye catcher which went viral over social media particularly in Instagram over night.
