Back in the 90’s, there’s a teen boy group that rose to fame called “Gwapings”. They were celebrities from GMA which consisted of Eric Fructuoso, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jao Mapa, and Jomari Yllana.
They used to be really popular because of their undeniably good looks and youthful charm. Actually, GMA Entertainment got to interview Mark Anthony regarding his Gwapings days. He stated: “The privilege of being a Gwaping member during my time was meeting Direk Joey Reyes, one of the premier writers and directors here in Asia. I met Douglas Quijano whom I learned a lot from. Joe Carreon is my favorite, I love that guy.”
These actors who used to be in Gwapings boy group that you used to idolize are now dads! Feel old yet? They now have their own children who could potentially also be in the next generation of Gwapings!
Avid Fan, a YouTube account, posted a video showing pictures of Gwapings with their handsome sons!
They indeed really look alike! Jomari’s son, Andre, is now 18 years old and currently taking his father’s step in showbiz. He was seen on Philippine family melodrama series on ABS-CBN, The Greatest Love, as stated by ABS-CBN news. The teen was also interviewed in Rated K, with Korina Sanchez, wherein he confessed:
“Natutuwa nga ako na parang, ay nakikilala na nila ako na anak ni Aiko pati ni Jomari. Napa-proud ako sa parents ko.”
On the other hand, Frederick Magdaluyo Fructuoso, the son of Eric Fructuoso, posted a picture of him and his father together on his Instagram account.
Fredick also used to dance just like his father. Eric Fructuoso has also been involved with women like Ara Mina, Priscilla Almeda, Joyce Jimenez, Toni Gonzaga, and Aubrey Miles. Well, how could he even be blamed? With those good looks of him, many girls would definitely be charmed by him! No other information could be found about his son but it’s really evident that many women would really swoon over him just like his dad! It was also his son who posted the picture above. It was really evident how proud he is of his dad!
Next is Grae Cameron, Mark Anthony’s son. Based on his Instagram account, on his bio, he’s a Star magic artist which is under ABS-CBN. He’s also a part of the boy group named Gimme 5 and is currently seen at Ikaw lamang ang iibigin teamed up with Andrea Brillantes.
