Low salary has heightened the population of OFW’s (overseas Filipino workers) worldwide. According to Philippine Statistics Authority as of 2015 the number of OFW who is working abroad is estimated 2.4 Million although they will live a lonely life away from their families and work for a hard job just to earn more they still settle for that opportunity hoping that their lives will be better soon.
On the other hand another impressive story went viral online, it was captured in humble streets of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. According to the source there was a 13 year old boy who is spotted in the streets but not making alms but doing business.
The boy was seen selling his own drawings in the street, put up a small cloth and one by one displaying his paper artworks with rocks for it not to fly.
The unnamed boy is selling it for 1 Riyal or 13 pesos, he is said to be a son of an OFW in the area and he is doing his mini business to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist someday.
Many netizens salute the kid for his hard work, commend his talent and also praise his dedication to fulfill his dreams.Other OFW’s and Saudi Arabian nationals already showed their support for the amazing little artist.
