According to the site ‘’Girls Not Brides’’ every year 15 million girls become married before they reach the age of 18. Those statistics showed a disturbing truth which is ongoing up to this day, it is awful and alarming that little girls around the world are forced to marry older men prohibiting them to play and get education.
These girls marry men 3 to 4 times their age, predominantly in Islamic countries, these acts debar them to learn essential lessons they need to develop became mature and survive in the world. Disempowered by their older spouses these little girls doesn’t have a voice to refuse worst these little girls won’t make it to age 18.
The 8 year old bride dies on her wedding night due to sexual trauma and internal injuries, reportedly her 40 year old husband forced himself to her that cause the little girl to die hepless. The viral story spread to social media and as a result human rights organizations are calling for justice on behalf of the poor little girl.
