Just two weeks ago, the Encantadia star Kylie Padilla, finally give birth to her very first child with the Kapuso-turned-Kapamilya actor Aljur Abrenica. Kylie, who is actually the gave birth to a healthy baby boy, and the couple named him Alas Joaquin.
On her Instagram page, the previously Sang’gre Amihan star posted a photo of Alas Joaquin bearing the touching message, “After four days of hard labor, here we are my love. Everything was worth it. I’m so proud of you. To the world, meet Alas Joaquin Abrenica. 7.5 pounds, born at 10:31pm on August 4 2017. The love of our lives @ajabrenica. Welcome to the world, our little prince.”
In an interview with GMA’s 24 Oras, Kylie shared she could not sleep due to excitement and the painful four-day labor. But the actress assured it was all worth it. On August 12, a week after his birth, baby Alas was taken by his celeb parents for his first check-up. A cute video was posted by Kylie on her Instagram, and garnered 325,273 views from her fans and followers.
Meanwhile, Aljur’s younger brother Vin Abrenica shared that baby Alas is currently the center of their family’s attention. “Na-meet ko na ang pamangkin kong yon. Sobrang cute. Super love ko sya. Nagpupuyat ako para sa kanya,” Vin said in an interview with ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda. “I’ll do my best. Gusto kong makilala ako ng bata. I want to be…I want to have a very, very special relationship with that boy,” hue added.
Aljur just recently jump ship to the network giant ABS-CBN and he reportedly asked tips from Vin before moving. “May one time na parang nagtatawanan kami, [then] sinabi nya sakin how it is…sa ASAP, if ever na mag-a-ASAP sya,” Vin said. “[I told him] ‘Kuya, masaya don! Very disciplined. Lahat, on time.’” “Sobrang nakakatuwa lang ngayon na nag-gi-give and take na kami,” he added.
Now, Aljur is currently one of the casts of the long-running FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano while the latter is in the top-rating afternoon series Wildflower. The two brothers, however, are hoping to work together in another project.
