In any wedding that we go to, it is understood that it is the bride's time to shine on her glorious day. All the guests and especially everyone in the entourage has to respect this unspoken rule that must be followed. However, there are some people who just cannot contain themselves and just have to get their share of the spotlight of the event and recently Vice Ganda is one of those few people who did not abide by that rule.
Vice Ganda, the Unkabogable Star proved that he could live up to his name as he wore a very show stopping outfit at the wedding of model Divine Lee and businessman Blake Go, held at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral last August 5, 2017. Naturally, the “It’s Showtime” host was part of the entourage like in most weddings that he has been invited to.
According to the report done by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), as the comedian made his entrance, he definitely made heads turned at him with his custom-made Paul Cabral ensemble. Vice paired this glamorous outfit with Gucci Queercore brogue pumps, which according to Gucci’s official site, a pair costs of those shoes costs about $1,790 or PHP90,010.
Vice Ganda surely did not mean to steal the focus from the bride, however according to the comedian, he was just following the black and white dress code. The bride was also too radiant for anyone to miss in her golden Rajo Laurel wedding dress which was definitely an eye catcher which no one can miss. The designer also had a touching statement for his long-time friend on her wedding day saying that her beautiful and dear friend gets married on that day and she’s literally golden as glam. He was so humbled and privileged to be able to make her wedding gown for the beautiful bride and he is grateful for the trust and faith.
The wedding was attended by a lot of famous names in different industries. Some of them being Karylle, Matteo Guidicelli, Andi Eigenmann, Tim Yap, Iza Calzado, Tessa Prieto-Valdez, Lucy Torres-Gomez, and Korina Sanchez. So as you can see, Vice wan’t at all trying to stand out; he was merely staying on theme and serving up his own version of unkabogable wedding couture.
