Kapuso star Sugar Mercado is known for her dancing prowess and acting skills. In fact, she used to be a member of the famous girl dance group SexBomb Girls. It was a brief stint for her, but it got her enough exposure to conquer variety shows and programs with her talent. She became a co-host of “Eat Bulaga” and now, she is currently appearing on “Wowowin" regularly.
However, with dancing such hot and steamy moves all the way, comes unfortunate incidents of wardrobe malfunctions. Recently, Sugar Mercado experienced one incident when GMA News Online reported that while dancing in “Wowowin,” her tight blue dress got a bit ripped off in the back which made her stop dancing. Apparently, the cut of her slit got extended until she had to turn around and hide the faux pas from the camera which was totally embarrassing.
The whole clip of what happened was uploaded on the official YouTube account of GMA Network and has currently gained 112,393 views as of today. Well the incident happened once they pressed the “play” button, where you will see Willie Revillame turning his attention to Sugar Mercado saying that Sugar is definitely a favorite dancer by the crownd because she is good. A SexBomb dancer surwly will catch anyone's eyes he says to the audience. Meanwhile, the girls beside Sugar exclaim appreciatively in her direction as did her number.
Then Willie pulls a dancer behind so that Sugar Mercado can be seen in full view by all. She briefly hesitates but the girls beside her says, “Kaya mo ‘yan, girl!” “Wag ka na mag-split, galaw ka lang, galaw ka lang,” Willie says to her. The girls cheer for her and then Sugar distances herself so that she could execute her dance properly.
“Di makahinga sa damit!” one of the girls exclaimed with a laugh when Sugar backs away from them. Willie and the audience laugh with this. “Ang babaeng iyakin, ito na po,” Willie says. “Please welcome, Sugar!” Then we see Sugar Mercado moving her hips with one hand on her waist while a music plays in the background.
However, she suddenly turns around and holds her dress at the back. This was about the time that it turns out Sugar Mercado’s dress’ slit ripped. It was not much, but the damage was enough to make her stop the dance altogether and that incident happening in front of a lot of people is definitely a lot of shame.
