As she took a break from showbiz since she married Ryan Agoncillo and had kids with him, Judy Ann Santos more popularly known as Judy Ann or Juday, lay low on the and would occasionally appear in some interviews, endorsements, and some shows. She decided to quit showbiz for a while, to focus on building her family rather than missing it if ever she would continue to work full time. Recently however, Judy Ann made her way on GMA News Online where she reported of having a new career besides acting, and that is as a sous chef trainer to her own daughter, Luna.
The mother and daughter shared a video bonding together that was posted on her official Instagram account. It has currently gained 273,572 views, as of this writing. Juday is also known as an established cook, aside from being an actress to which we all knew her for. In fact, she has established her own cookbook already titled “Judy Ann’s Kitchen.” Juday made a huge achievement through her book was recognized by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2016, which made her exceptionally ecstatic.
Each year, the Gourmand International recognizes the most excellent food and wine books in the world. These include the best food and wine in food channels as well. Where Juday's book was categorically included in the “Best Authors and Chefs outside Europe,” where it ranked number three.
When Juday found out about her inclusion in the prestigious list, she exclaimed the following words on her Instagram account saying, "Oh my!!! Tumalon ang puso ko!! Never really expected this. But, oh wow! I am beyond grateful!! To the whole team who helped in making my dreams come true, cheers to us!!! Maraming maraming maraming salamat po!!” Gourmand International announced that every year, they have at least 250 nominees who aim to get recognized by them. However that is not the only achievement of Judy Ann Santos in relation to cooking. She also starred in a Cinemelaya film entitled “Kusina” back in 2016, where she portrayed the character of a mom whose passion lies in cooking different dishes for her family. Definitely, she found a way to mix up her passion for cooking and acting and is clearly doing great.
