A Lady Lost Her Wallet With 10,000 Pesos in a Famous Fast Food Chain what Happens Next Will Surprise you

With a lot of things going on in our lives, we tend to have busy schedules at work or school that somehow robbed us from our personal times. Often times, even our mindfulness over the things around us, we tend to forget.

Recently, a Facebook user and mom Kathleen Trine de Lara has been tired and sleepless for almost two weeks now and hasn’t reported to work for several days because her daughter was sick. What was even worse was that she lost her wallet which contained ten thousand cash and all her IDs and ATM cards. According to her, out of all the times that her stupidity would strike, she had to lose her wallet at that time as Kathreen narrated on a Facebook status.

Last Tuesday, on August 15, Kathreen brought her three-year-old daughter to a pediatrician. After the consultation, her daughter asked her to eat at Jollibee so they ate at the nearest fast food branch, Jollibee Lacson cor Dapitan. Then on their way home, she found out that her wallet was missing. Due to various reasons, she couldn’t head back so she contacted the Jollibee branch where she and her daughter ate. There were actually three numbers to be exact, but all the lines were busy. What she did then was follow her instinct and that is to open her Facebook Messenger request and there it was, the fast food crew member who got her wallet contacted her.

“There it is, a message request! It took me time to realize it’s possible. I was amazed. Surprised. Happy. Cant put in words,” she said. The person who recovered her lost items was Aaron Joshua Maoy Aputen, who was an 18-year-old working student and an aspiring marine. Kathreen felt overjoyed when her wallet fell into the hands of a good person. She earnestly expressed her gratitude to Aaron on her Facebook post and offered her best wishes to the Good Samaritan who was honest enough to bring back her wallet.

Kathreen said, “To this amazing guy, THANK YOU. You have no idea how thankful I am. Thank you for doing reasonable efforts to get my wallet returned. Thank you for having a good heart and for doing the right thing. Thank you for using both of your hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others. I wish someday you’d be someone you dream you’d be because you deserve it. And I wish you continue doing your little bit of [goodness] wherever you are. It is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the cruel society we are at,” she furthered explained.

Kathreen also wished for everyone to take this experience of hers as a lesson and hopes that everyone would be mindful of his or her things, and most importantly, to always believe in the goodness of others. She says that the society may be flawed, but encourages all of us to have faith that there are people who’ll prove this wrong. It was quite a wonderful experience that someone was good enough to return her wallet truthfully and because of that she is now thankful to this guy.
