Wilfredo Buendia Revillame or more popularly known as Willie Revillame is one of the most prominent television personalities and is known for helping the less fortunate through his television shows. Wherever network he may be, hosting variety game shows has always been his trademark. Willie is currently working with the GMA Network in hosting its show, "Wowowin".
According to the Kapuso Network, Wowowin is a variety television show that combines the fun and excitement of game shows, the comedy and drama of talk shows, and the exuberance of musicals. Everyone is welcome to play! The new games are designed to be enjoyed by everybody- guys, girls, college graduates, out-of-school youths, kids, seniors, probinsyanos, and even foreigners.
Recently however, an incident occurred during Wowowin that made Willie furious. Apparently, during Wowowin's segment called '1,2,3, Go!' where Willie was about to call the name of the winner, on his first pick he got the name, 'Sherlyn De Asis', to whom he even joked by saying that he can't understand the bad penmanship.
But Willie came to a shock as he found out that the name he picked was already part of another segment of the show. Willie was furious as he said that why was the name written the second time around. According to the staff, they gave the instructions clearly to the audience and said that they could only write once for they will be disqualified if they did that. Willie then said that the woman will be disqualified from all the segments that she was supposed to be in.
According to Willie, the cheating is intolerable for the show is made for everyone fair and square and cheating won't do any good to anyone. Willie stated that about now, everyone might feel less motivated to play because of the cheating that has happened. So now Willie decided to pay for all the transportation fees of the supposedly contestants, because who won't allow the situation to continue like that.
After that the show continued and Willie warned everyone that this was supposed to be a fun place for everyone and that cheating will not be tolerated.
