Marriages are not perfect. Sometimes we meet people who we thought we'll spend our entire lives with. A broken marriage may have been the fault of both husband and wife, however that does not make them bad parents. Even though they grew apart, they can still be good parents to their children.
Celebrity marriages are often like that. Often times they grew apart from each other and eventually break off. One of the couple celebrities who splitted up, are Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago. Despite their broken marriage, they still remain in touch for their children.
The two got married on March 27, 2006 at Tagaytay Highlands in Cavite . Big celebrities as they are, they had a grand wedding that was attended by their respective families and friends both inside and outside of the showbiz industry. Even before their grand wedding, the two had already gotten married in a civil wedding on the May 2, 2004. In the same year, on July, they adopted their daughter, Sabina when she was only 2 months old. In 2007, Claudine gave birth to their son, Santino.
However, their marriage did not last long.
Claudine and Raymart may not have worked things out thoroughly and and eventually they annulled their marriage. Claudine admitted that she was still in mourning for her late boyfriend, Rico Yan, when Raymart came into her life. She was totally confused of how she felt, she was so broken with her loss that she didn't realize she used someone to forget that hurt.
Issues regarding their marriage are not finalized up until today, however with Raymart's recent Instagram post, it inly shows that the brawl between him and Claudine does not affect his duty as a father to his children. Raymart greeted Santino a happy birthday and said that he will always be there for him. It seems that he is still very interested in taking care and showing love for his children. Raymart had been posting lots of picture of him together with his children bonding and buying them stuffs. Goes to show that he is not a failure as a father, despite being less of a husband.
