Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid’s eldest 19-year-old daughter Leila Alcasid, with former wife Miss Australia 1994 Michelle van Eimeren, came back to the country last January of this year. Ogie and Michelle got married way back in 1996 and in 2007 they got their marriage annulled. She decided to come back home her in the Philippines from Australia so she could reconnect with her Filipino roots and try her shot in the entertainment industry.
She left the country with her mom when she was only 4 years old; she never had interest in the industry when she was way back in Australia. However after she took acting and singing workshops here in the Philippines, her first big project here in the country would be on ASAP when she sang along with his father and other kid celebrities with their parents.
She may be young but she is stunningly beautiful, definitely she got lucky from having beautiful genes. With gorgeous looks and now off to become a celebrity, most probably suitors are all around waiting for the opportunity to have met the young woman. Now that she is venturing over in the industry, she is now even going on mall shows. Even though she is not fluent with Filipino, she appears to be very refreshing and is well mannered that you know she has been raised well.
According to Ogie, Leila is now taking up workshops with Star Magic and her billboard with Bench is now up, which is truly making him proud. Ogie even said that there are numerous offers that are now pilling up for her daughter and jokingly said that he would gladly take the offer as well if he was given the chance.
Being the dad that he is, ogie is very strict about his daughter’s suitors but according to Ogie he doesn’t like to drop names. He told Leila that if ever suitors are going to ask her out, every single man should undergo him and another condition is that he has to give the ride for Leila and not ride with the guy.
According to Leila, she did not expect that her funny father would be so serious and strict. However, Leila says that she is lucky to have Ogie as her father. Despite being strict about her suitors, her dad is pretty much a millennial thinker and is totally supportive about everything that she wants to venture on.
