With the recent news last June 1, 2017 that Marietta Subong, also known as Pokwang as her stage name is seven weeks pregnant with her American boyfriend Lee O' Brian, the two are thrilled to be parents and can't wait for the baby to be born.
According to an interview with O' Brian with ABS-CBN News last Friday, the baby is expected to be born February next year. This is his statement in the interview:
“We found out last Saturday. She was super happy, I was super happy, too. Sobrang masaya, I prayed for this.” “She’s doing well. She’s resting. She’s currently at seventh week and required to do bed rest. I don’t know for how many weeks but I know she’s withdrawn from all of her shows or commitments.”
He added, “If it’s going to be a boy, definitely we’ll have a first name of William because of my family. That will be a definite first name and we’re going to see about the second name, we’re not sure. If it’s a girl, I can’t really say right now. We might name her after her mom, but we don’t know.”
However this Sunday June 9, according to K Brosas' Instagram post regarding her BFF, Pokwang was brought to the hospital due to some complications and difficulties in her pregnancy. Her doctors advised complete bed rest and avoid stressful activities as well.
Good thing that K, Pokwang's BFF, is always there for her most especially in times of need. Last time, it was trending when K did an effort to satisfy the craving of Pokwang as she made her way to find the tempura udon that Pokwang was craving for and now that Pokwang needs lots of support she is here for her as well.
K asked everyone in her Instagram post, for people to include Pokwang and her baby in their prayers and told everyone that Pokwang is doing fine now.
