Korean Drama or simplified as KDrama has been a part of mostly every Filipino. Not only does it makes our hearts flutter, but people tend to relate themselves to the characters of the story. Since the start of KDrama in the Philippines on 2003, the country had a huge amount of viewers for the dramas which prompted the Philippine television stations to import Korean Dramas. The TV networks played a huge part for the KDrama experience of the Filipinos, they been airing a numerous amount of KDrama where it was first accessed and up until today where even though KDramas are already available on the internet, tv networks are still the number one go to of the Filipinos for watching.
With that just like in the Philippines, actors tend to fall in love with co-actors primarily because they revolve in such a small world of the entertainment industry. Surely now, a real life KDrama is about to happen for two of the most popular Korean actors of today decided to get married.
This is none other than Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo who revealed that they are holding the wedding ceremony by the end of the month of October of 2017. It will be an intimate wedding where close friends and relatives will be invited, that is why they had given only minimal information regarding their wedding.
With the wedding announcement, the Korean and International fans are surely in an uproar. Song Joong Ki rose to fame in the historical drama 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' and the variety show 'Running Man'. He also had his first male role lead in the drama 'The Innocent Man' and was also notably known for his role in 'A Werewolf Boy'. After the mandatory military training, he took on another lead role in 2016 where he became top as Hallyu star. He placed 7th in the Forbes Korean Power Celebrity list and was marked 2nd in 2017.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo began her career through modelling. She started by winning first place in the SungKyung Smart Model contest and from then on took part in television dramas like First Love and Soonpoong Clinic for minor roles. But 2000 marked the start of her fame when she was part if the cast of Autumn in My Heart, the drama also made her a top Hallyu Star. Ever since on Song was a notable actress in the Korean entertainment industry, and finally in 2016 she starred in the mega-hit romantic comedy series 'Descendants of the Sun' where she was co-stars with Song Joong Ki.
Truly, we meet people whom unexpectedly will play an important role in our lives. Thus, we would like to congratulate the both of them for their upcoming wedding and we wish them happiness and a fruitful marriage.
