The Korean fever has really dominated our country. From Korean Pop Music, Korean drama, cosmetics, clothing and even Korean Restaurants have become really popular in the Philippines recently.
Even celebrities are fan girling over the Korean hype, one of them is Kapamilya TV host and actress Alex Gonzaga. But things didn't turn out pretty for Alex and her friends as they went to Yedang Metrowalk for a supposedly fun Korean experience.
Alex and her friends decided to eat in a Korean restaurant in the said area because it has been really popular recently. So they ordered beef belly, but they didn't expect to see so much fat. That is why they kindly asked for another serving which has lesser fat. But the Korean manager/ owner lashed out at them saying that they can't do their request.
Being confronted like that, Alex talked back and said that the Korean manager shouldn't talk like that. Above all she is in a foreign country, where she gets her income from. It would only be natural to treat the people with respect. Filipinos are know to be hospitable, so clearly the Korean manager should be as well. She was even rude to her employees.
Alex resorted to posting a screenshot of her experience and how the Korean manager was at fault for treating customers and her employees so rudely.
