Singer Zsa Zsa Padilla and architect Conrad Onglao's love story is like your favorite love story from a novel or a movie. Both had previous marriages — Zsa Zsa to Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari and Conrad to interior designer Ivy Almario. They were also in long-term relationships-- Conrad was with a beauty queen for ten years, while Zsa Zsa was with Comedy King Dolphy for 23 years until his untimely passing in 2012.
The now-engaged couple met through a mutual friend, Mega Star Sharon Cuneta, in 2014. They now live together in a beautiful three-storey home designed by Conrad in an elite subdivision in Makati.
Modernity and elegance meet in the couple’s auspicious home. The façade of the building show no gates or barriers for Architect Conrad Onglao did not want to hide the beauty of the house.
The exterior landscape of the house was adorned with Buddha belly, selloums, ferns, and large elephant ears with mango, macopa, and canistel or chesa trees.
The front door greets guests with the sight of the lively lobby. The modern staircase looked majestic and impressive. Beneath the staircase are two lovely charcoal sketches given by the late painter Anita Magsaysay-Ho as a Christmas gift to Conrad.
On the opposite side of the staircase is a space for receiving and entertaining guests. Conrad's collection of jars from Zamboanga, China, Indonesia, France, and the United States is quite a sight to behold!
The house is surrounded with different plants that makes the couple’s home even more enigmatic.
Conrad and Zsa Zsa's favorite place in their home is their white kitchen! They love this space very much because it feels stylish, clannish, and calm.
The couple is fond of hosting get-togethers in their own place that is why they have more than enough seats for guests in their three-storey dwelling.
The master bedroom has the ceiling height that is is equivalent to two storeys. The high ceiling makes the secluded refuge seem bright, magnificent, and royal.
Conrad and Zsa Zsa’s home is indeed a dwelling place like no other.
