Celestine ‘’Toni’’ Gonzaga-Soriano is a popular TV host, singer and actress, her biggest break in the entertainment industry was her sprite commercial with Piolo Pascual.
Her career went stable until she announced her engagement to Direk Paul Soriano her boyfriend for eight years. The two married last 2015 and gave birth to their first son Severiano Elliot last September 2016.
However Toni seems to love her work and don’t want to give it up yet, recently on ABS-CBN news she stated that she doesn’t want to follow up her first born yet. According to her she wants to have a baby two to three years after seve.
“Huwag muna. Ginising ko talaga sarili ko. Nanaginip ako na buntis daw ako. Sabi ko, ‘Anim na buwan pa lang si Seve, bakit buntis na naman ako?’ Buti na lang panaginip lang.”
just not this time, or soon. She added: “Anim na buwan na akong walang tulog, matutulog muna siguro ako . . . Talagang ire-recover ko muna.”
she also revealed that ‘she suffered post partum depression.
“Dadaan ka talaga sa self-pity kasi siyempre siyam na buwan may dala dala kang human sa katawan mo tapos bigla na lang nawala. Feeling mo part of you, parang may kulang, may wala.”
On the other hand Toni also stated that she wants to enjoy her mommy duties to seve first, as she calls it ‘the most challenging and the most rewarding but also most fulfilling and rewarding.
