Marietta Subong commonly known as Pokwang is well known comedienne host, impersonator, and an actress. She has been in showbiz industry since 1998 and rose to fame in 2004 when she won the ‘’Clown in a million’’ a reality show segment of yes yes show of ABS-CBN.
From then she started to appear in different movies, sitcoms, talk shows and television series. Despite her successful career she struggled many trials in life such as losing her eldest child in 1998 due to brain cancer, her bravery as a mother gained her praises and respect from her co-artists as well as the netizens.
In 2015 she met her man of his dreams an American actor Lee O’Brien in the set of Edsa Woolworth and from then her romantic relationship start and blossoms. Recently a good news buzzed everyone as pokwang was reported pregnant once more with O’Briens baby at the age of 46.
Ogie Diaz her close friend confirmed her pregnancy on his facebook account saying :
“Congrats, Marietta Subong aka POKWANG! Buntis ka na! Yan na yon! Ibibigay na yan ni Lord sa inyo ni Lee O’Brian. Claim it!” he wrote in his post.
Pokwang has yet to announce if the news is true, then it would be the second time she will carry O’Briens child as she suffered miscarriage last 2015.
