Between acting, travelling, hosting, and modelling, it’s amazing how celebrities still find the time to spend a day of being normal. Kapuso Star Paolo Elito Macapagal Ballesteros IV, or simple Paolo Ballesteros, is no exception. For all his fame and success, he manages to be a great dad and have a solid relationship with his daughter Keira Claire.
8-year-old Keira Claire lives with her mom, Katrina, in Chicago. Katrina Nevada is Paolo’s ex-girlfriend and classmate way back in college.
Even though the actor-model came out as a homosexual just recently, he and Katrina maintains a healthy relationship with one another.
And while their relationship lasted for only about a year, they created something out of that relationship that connects them both for a lifetime—their daughter.
Although Paolo and Keira Claire live far away from each other, the “Die Beautiful” star always makes time to bond with his daughter, whether through video calls, or visiting her in the States.
However, it was not an easy journey for Paolo and Katrina to claim guardianship of their daughter.
Controversies surrounded them both when Katrina’s family wanted to take custody of their daughter. In the end, the court favoured Keira’s custody to her parents and now, both Paolo and Katrina raise their young Keira.
Just like her dad, this cute little 8-year-old has aspirations of becoming the next big thing. Her Daddy Paolo is more than happy to support her dreams of becoming a star. With her good looks and adorably infectious smile, Showbiz should definitely watch out for this kid.
