
Myrtle Sarrosa: a cosplayer turned Pinoy Big Brother Teen(PBB) winner, will now take her march at the top of her as Cun Laude at University of The Philippics Diliman(UP: Diliman).
Before being a winner of Pinoy big Brother teen winner, Myrtle Abigail P. Sarrosa was at first a cosplayer, portraying some very well known anime characters like: Asuka Langely(Neon Evangelion), Misaki Ayuzawa(kaicho wa maid-sama), Usagi tsukino(sailormoon), and many others. She also has a website called :myrtlegail.com that show cases other role-plays that she did. Her interest in cosplaying also won her awards.
After Myrtle won on PBB teen edition on 2012, she became a household name being featured in the Kapamilya network’s well known and most watched shows namely: an episode of Maalala Mo kaya, a show portraying the lives of everyday Filipinos, she also appeared in FPJ’s Ang Propinsiyano, a movie turned live action series.
Her other appearances also include being a VJ for a tagalized anime channel called HeroTV, the morning show, Ang Gandang Buhay and the Sunday variety show host on ASAP. She was also in three movies, and is a singer and song writer.
Even through she has success in her career as a Kapamilya star, she admits on facebook that she had some difficulty with her studies, because she felt guilty when ever she could not give her parents a grade that was of high praise.
However, this seems not the case for her parents as they only encourage her to do her best and not look at her failings.
During her pre-PBB, she took on BS accountancy at UP in Visayas and was feeling unfulfilled taking on the course and decided to have a go at joining the housemate nation wide search. Now after getting a big win, she decided to take on another educational path which was Bachelor in Broadcast communication at UP Diliman-and graduated at the top of her class as Cum laude.
The post went viral, receiving 58 thousand reactions, along with 10%(5.6 thousand) coming from fans and supportive netizens, when the post went live.
