Angel is always unbeatable when she’s at her best, is one of the compliments Angel receive after playing the role of Samina on MMK’s May 23 episode, the story has 2 episode which shows two sides of the story of a lost kid, the first episode was the mother’s side Idai who was portrayed by Dimples Romana, the story started when Idai’s son Topher (Ynigo Delen) lost after following his aunt on a fast-food chain in Divisoria. Idai then look for his son but he is nowhere to be found.
One day Samina called Idai asking for ransom money for Topher that made Idai ask for police help. Samina and her sister Aisah (Jane oineza) was taken by the police for kidnapping.
On the other side of the story played by Angel Locsin as Samina, the story stared when Samina found Topher in the divisoria, Samina tried to look for topher’s mother but there’s no one to claim, being concern about the child Samina brought Topher to Sulu and took care of him and called him broom broom. After a year Samina and Broom broom treated each other as mother and child when Samina found out that Topher’s mom is looking for her.
Samina hurriedly called Idai to confirm her identity, Idai offered money to Samina for taking care of topher but after their meeting samina was arrested by the police Idai called. Also Samina’s sister Aisah who was just a passerby was caught for accused Kidnapping together with Samina.
The tragic story of Samina and Aisah melt the hearts of the netizens wishing them to be given a parol. Also Angel and Jane’s acting is commended for beautifully portraying a muslim woman.
Angel in her role as Samina gave justice to the character as Angel was tagged by the netizens ‘’Angel at her best’’.
