A facebook photo alarmed many netizens as it shows a hidden camera inside a screw that could possibly took videos of them while inside the cubicle the tiny camera can be used to take photos of the victim’s private parts and use it to blackmail the poor victim.
The hidden cameras are commonly attached on the walls of the CR or in the corners of the cubicle. The facebook post is sharing this information to spread awareness to women while going to public comfort rooms. Everyone is advised to be alert and observant in their surroundings.
Meanwhile doing this crime may face charges of RA 9995 or the anti-photo and video voyeurism act of 2009. The violators would be penalized with 3 - 7 years of imprisonment and monetary penalty of 100,000 to 500,000.
