Lyca Jane Gairanod is a 12 year old Filipina child singer and actress. She won the first season of the The Voice Kids Philippines where she had her first recording contract with MCA music inc. Lyca was born in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines.
Lyca was a child born in poverty, Her family collected plastic materials, bottles, and other recyclable items for added income. Her father was a fisherman, and her mother, Maria Nessel Gairanod, scavenged used bottles and old newspapers.
As a child Lyca helped her mother by singing for their neighbors in exchange for money and food. Currently we can see Lyca entitled ‘’Young Diva ng masa’’ every weekend in the TV show ‘’Your Face Sounds familiar Kids’’ with ‘’Break out child star’’ Awra Briguela, ‘’Bibong child wonder’’ Nino Mulach, ‘’Daytime princess’’ Xia Vigor and many more.
